Clemson might have to start worrying...

... that the momentum they built up might being take some hits. While we know that Charlie Whitehurst is the real deal and should be a great ACC QB, they are starting to lose players early to the NFL, and some key ones.

- This article says that their talented WR Derrick Hamilton will go pro. He led the Tigers with 62 catches, 1026 yards and 10 TD's. He also had the best all-purpose yardage season in Clemson history. Here is more from the State SC newspaper.

- As reported earlier Clemson will also lose DT Donnell Washington, a talented player who will go to the NFL.

Some serious holes to fill for the Tigers.

In other Clemson news, Oliver Purnell's great recruiting job in hoops is going to new levels. Looks like he too is driving away players that don't fit his system and what a side benefit - an available scholarship, to bring in some real talent.
