A Call to end the cupcakes in the ACC

This guy tries to make people think the ACC is the only conference scheduling cupcakes. And to bolster his argument, he tries to discount the tough games we do play. He is right that the ACC schedules a lot of cupcakes......... but just like most other teams. Don't try and tell me #1 UConn from the Big East has played a line of powerhouse clubs. Their toughest games was GT, which they lost by double-digits. I mean, they only beat Rutgers by one point the other night.

Bottom line is that quality wins count, but getting to 20 wins is a mental block that DOES make a difference come tourney time, no matter who you beat. ACC team's RPI's will all go up as ACC play begins because we will be killing each other. Every win we get now WILL matter, even if it is against Marist.
