Jeremis has put in his latest entry into his online journal. Check out his comments about GT:
.....Then my trek will continue on to Georgia Tech, whom I must give four stars for their performance at the Preseason NIT tournament. They beat the No. 1 team, Connecticut, and then turned around and beat Texas Tech. Looks like the Atlantic Coast Conference has to watch out for a new tournament contender. Coach Paul Hewitt has those Yellow Jackets playing great. Now everyone is looking at me like, "Did you know they were going to be that good?" I am so excited about college; I can't talk about it enough. It seems as if I have been in high school for an eternity.
TexasRoundball has actually moved Smith to the #1 player in the class of 2004 for the state of Texas, ahead of Lamarcus Aldridge. Smith's team Dunbar rolled in the tourney finals 74-44, beating LD Bell. Smith goes off with 27 points, at least 4 dunks, including an alleyoop dunk with his left hand. Dunbar is now 6-0.
As far as Dickey, found this short article about how he decided to give up football and stick with hoops fulltime.
