Nice article on the hoops team

A nice re-cap of the success we have had so far versus the "experts". The only fault I find in the article is that it says we do not have depth. When Tarver and Bynum get going, we will probably go 10-11 deep. Different skills but lots of athletes. I don't think depth will be a problem, even in the middle as long as the team continues their impressive crash-the-glass and hustle mentality. I think GT has about out-rebounded every team they have played so far (unverified), which is tremendous.

Lastly, here is mention of the hoops team on SI.com, about Hewitt getting Elder fired up to play Ben Gordon of UConn. Also notice this comment down further from an unnamed coach:

At least one major college coach I spoke with wasn't surprised by UConn's loss to Georgia Tech: "If you can stop Connecticut's transition game and keep them off the offensive glass, they can be beat because they are god-awful in the halfcourt. They don't run anything."
