Links from the game

Here is the AP story. Here is AJC's recap. Jonathon Smith ended up with another fantastic game - 9 catches 155 yards 1 touchdown. See the notes on him. He is now 4th all-time on Tech's receiver's list for catches. By the way, guess who was on the sidelines watching the game - our old friend / flunky Tony Hollings. What could have been. But Tony, a throwback OJ Simpson jersey? We know you were a good "slasher" but come on! Here are some good words about Reggie Ball's performance (Reggie don't read it). Here was Mark Bradley's take on the unpredictability of the team BEFORE the game. By the way did you know that freshman defensive end Joe Anoai is related to the world of professional wrestling and has hung out with Hulk Hogan. See here. WHAT ARE YOU GONNA DO WHAT TECHMANIA STARTS RUNNIN WILD!!!!.

By the way, NC ST. had -8 (that's minus 8) yards rushing. WOW!. And here is a nice photo of one of the nicest fade passes for a TD I have seen. Here is an audio link to Nat Curry comments about the game. (Not sure if it will work).

Here is the re-cap from the Wolfpack web site. My favorite quote was from Amato - "Reggie Ball is going to be something," said Pack coach Chuck Amato. "I was talking to Chan Gailey before the game and he said `the best thing about this game is that it will be the last time I see Philip Rivers.' I said the worst thing about this game is that it will be the first time I see your quarterback."

Here are comments from Kenny Scott about his 90 yard return where he stumbled then got tackled before the endzone.
