Texas A&M: The Raise Machine

Want a raise? Try to get Texas A&M interested in hiring you as their baseball coach. First Ray Tanner at SC-east gets a nice pay increase and long term contract to stay, and now our own Danny Hall gets the same. So he will remain the Jacket coach through 2010. That's a good thing. You may be frustrated with our lack of frequent flyer miles to Omaha, but you cannot say he's not a winner - he is. He recruits well, wins and puts guys in the majors. He will always put us in position to get to Omaha and we'll break through again. It will happen.......

Georgia Tech head baseball coach Danny Hall, the winningest coach in school history, has agreed to a new five-year contract through 2010, Director of Athletics Dave Braine announced Wednesday.

"We're very happy to announce that Danny Hall will be our baseball coach for a long time," said Braine. "He is very deserving of this new contract. All he does is win, and he does it quietly, with class and with good kids. He is the perfect fit for Georgia Tech."
