NCAA Ready to Meet with Georgia Tech...

... to discuss the issue of infractions. Note that they will not be meeting with anyone from the academic dept. The committee wants to meet in person to clarify some questions they have and come to a resolution. Here is Dave Braine's quote:

"Georgia Tech has fully cooperated with the NCAA every step of the way and we will continue to do so," said Tech Director of Athletics Dave Braine. "This is another step in a long process, and we look forward to resolving this issue completely.

"The most important thing is that we have made a number of changes in our procedures to prevent anything like this from happening in the future."

Now, I respect Dave Braine tremendously, and I think he has done an outstanding job at increasing the level of competitiveness across the entire athletic dept. But when I see quotes about this topic, all that comes into my head is - "blah blah blah blah". Are you hearning the teacher from the Charlie Brown cartoons? "Wha waaa waa waaaaaaa wa wa"..... It's just all damage control at this point....... However, after the NCAA gave UGA back ALL it's hoops scholarships, they have redefined their stupidity. By their standards, they should probably be issuing letters of apology and actually thank Georgia Tech for making some honest mistakes.....
