Hoops Draft Notes

BJ Elder worked out with the LA Clippers Thursday morning........ The Milwaukee Bucks will work out Luke Schenscher in the coming weeks....... Bob Gibbons is advising the Charlotte Bobcats to avoid picking any of the high school kids with their #5 overal pick in the draft. The Bobcats hold the #5 and #13 pick, and are very interested in a top PG. Look at the possibility of Jarrett Jack getting a look at #13 if they don't get Deron Williams early......... Here's what Bernie Bickerstaff had to say about Jack, after watching him workout:

"Wright and Jack were impressive. They know how to play basketball," Bickerstaff said.

In addition, here's the first clue we've seen from Jack as to which way he is leaning:

Jack, a point guard, has yet to hire an agent, meaning he could still return to school for his senior season. He indicated Thursday he is leaning toward remaining eligible for the draft.

"I'm in the moment right now and that could be playing a part in it," Jack said. "There are still a lot of pros about going back to school, but this is something I've wanted to do since I was a kid."

No surprise here. I've been trying to prepare you mentally for this. I hope I'm wrong, but deep down I know I'm not.....
