Hoops - ACC Tourney Broadcast Info

Here is info on TV coverage. It shows coverage in most southeast markets. Basically all games will be on either ESPN or ESPN2, unless there is a local Raycom/Jefferson Pilot affiliate covering the game. So if you're NOT in the southeast, you will most likely tune-in to ESPN or ESPN2.

For radio listeners, all games will be covered by 790thezone, but NOT by 91.1 WREK.

In addition, for those attending the game, you will be able to listen to an in-house signal of Wes Durham's game call. However, it is not determined what that band will be. Here's a post by Wes Durham himself over at the Hive.

The in-house signal for our radio broadcasts at MCI Center will not be completely determined until we get things set up there tomorrow afternoon.

However, we hope to have the signal somewhere between: 104.1 and 105.7 FM

Remember as well, that we are going to change things around during the first two rounds. Randy Waters and I will be doing the Georgia Tech - Virginia Tech game of course, but we will be working with some of our other ISP colleagues during the first two days of the tournament on Thursday and Friday.

Also, if you choose to bring a radio, there are other networks that provide and "in-house signal" during the tournament.

I hear the guy that does Carolina is pretty good, and they have a signal as well

Go Jackets!

Also, for Tech fans attending the tourney and GT game, there is a pre-game event.

Georgia Tech fans attending the Atlantic Coast Conference Basketball Tournament in Washington, D.C. are invited to a pregame gathering, sponsored by the Georgia Tech Alumni Association, on Friday at 1:30 p.m. at Polly Esther's in Washington, D.C.

Tech begins play in the ACC Tournament Friday against Virginia Tech in a game that will tip off at approximately 2:30 p.m. at the MCI Center.

For information on the pregame gathering, as well as game-watching events around the nation, please visit the Alumni Association website.
