Spring practice starts Friday. That's right, and Reggie Ball looks to be the guy leading the way. But Taylor Bennet and Kyle Manley are looking to unseat the 2 year starter. Story here.
Also note that Mansfield Wrotto will be the starting offensive guard. I like that move:
Junior Mansfield Wrotto, who started 21 games at defensive tackle the last two years, has moved to offensive guard. Wrotto (6-3, 310) enters spring as the starting right guard.
Gailey said he asked Wrotto to make the move.
"He said 'Coach, whatever I need to do to help the team,' " Gailey said. "If he wants to play in the NFL, I think that would be his best spot. He has excellent short area quickness, excellent body control and he is a powerful man. Technique is going to be the biggest issue for him."
